Our mission

ADAPTING TO THE STUDENT

Our primary mission is to support the child in their development by providing adapted learning situations that respect their individuality and foster their growth.

It is through adapting to the student that l’École des Lumières aims to convey a love of knowledge and a desire to learn.

It provides everyone with the necessary tools for the continuation of their educational journey, regardless of the chosen path, including furthering their education within the Geneva system or the French system.

Our mission

PROMOTE MULTILNGUAL LEARNING

Offering a foreign language through early immersion encourages the linguistic abilities of young children and subsequently enhances multilingual learning.

At the École des Lumières, English and Arabic are taught from the age of 3 through daily lessons. Starting in 4th grade, the learning of German is introduced into the curriculum.

In addition to aiming for the acquisition of language and communication skills, the teaching of foreign languages contributes to the discovery of lifestyles and cultures from different countries, enhancing the cultural and relational enrichment of our students.

Our mission

TO CONVEY SHARED VALUES

Since school is a place for learning about community life, l’École des Lumières promotes values that cultivate an inclusive and respectful society for all.

The promotion of these values occurs through the experiences students encounter at school and revolves around two key areas :

  •  Academic Work : The activities offered embody values such as curiosity, effort, collaboration, respect for others, the right to make mistakes, and commitment.
  • Class/School Operations : This is where values such as solidarity, cooperation, mutual support, and responsibility are practiced.
