Our program is based on the objectives of the Plan d’Études Romand while enriching them with diverse content and additional subjects that broaden students' horizons. The pedagogical approach incorporates advancements in neuroscience to better understand how each child learns and to adapt teaching methods to their specific needs.

With their expertise, care, and creativity, the teaching team guides students in exploring the world. By respecting their pace and highlighting their strengths, they help them develop their skills, confidence, and personality, enabling them to achieve their best.
At l’École des Lumières, the teaching of a foreign language begins at the age 3.
Introducing a foreign language at an early age encourages young children's language skills and subsequently promotes multilingual learning.
Each student receives instruction in English and Arabic from the age of 3, with four periods per week dedicated to each language.
Starting in Grade 4, Arabic and English instruction continues at the same pace. German is introduced with two periods per week.
In addition to aiming for the acquisition of language and communication skills, the teaching of foreign languages contributes to the discovery of lifestyles and cultures from different countries, enhancing the cultural and relational enrichment of our students.
At EDL, we firmly believe that learning goes beyond the classroom. That’s why our program features a variety of activities and excursions that foster the overall development of students, encouraging their curiosity, creativity, and well-being.
⎜ FOREST SCHOOL
⎜ SAILING PRACTICE
✧ Building Balance and Focus ✧
⎜ SCHOOL CAMPS
✧ Unforgettable Experiences to Grow Differently ✧
⎜ SWIMMING
✧ A Comprehensive Sport for Health and Independence ✧
➜ Swimming is an essential activity that combines physical well-being with safety skills. Not only is it a full-body workout that engages all muscles, but it also enhances coordination, breathing, and endurance. Swimming helps manage stress, builds selfconfidence, and provides students with a valuable skill that promotes both their safety and independence.
⎜ HORSE RIDING
✧ Cultivating Patience and Empathy ✧
➜ Horse riding provides students with the opportunity to develop a sense of responsibility, balance, and coordination. It teaches them to understand and respect animals, while fostering self-confidence and emotional regulation. Through direct interaction with the horse, students learn to build a relationship based on trust and empathy.
⎜ CHESS
✧ Enhancing Strategy and Critical Thinking ✧
➜ Chess is an excellent way to stimulate students' cognitive abilities. Through chess, they learn to anticipate, solve problems, and make thoughtful decisions. This activity promotes the development of focus, memory, and strategic thinking while encouraging perseverance in the face of challenges.
